Graduate Teaching Assistant (Secondary)
Location: North Shields, North Tyneside
Salary: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
About the Role:
GSL Education are recruiting dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary education in North Shields. This role involves assisting teachers and students in a secondary school setting.
Job Summary:
- Support teachers in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one assistance to students who require additional support.
- Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with the implementation of learning plans and activities.
- Support the monitoring of student progress and development.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to address student needs.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant subject area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, are required.
