Graduate Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Location: North Shields, North Tyneside
Salary: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
About the Role:
GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join primary schools in North Shields. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in an educational environment.
Job Summary:
- Assist primary school teachers in delivering lessons.
- Support students across various subjects and activities.
- Help maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant subject area.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey.
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous.
Note:
Candidates must demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Background checks, including an enhanced DBS disclosure, are required.
