Join one of our client schools as a PMLD Teacher in the vibrant borough of Hackney.

Responsibilities:

  • PMLD Teacher: As a PMLD Primary Teacher, your primary role is to provide an inclusive, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
  • Tailored Education: Create an individualized curriculum that caters to the unique learning needs of each student. Foster their personal and academic development with patience and care.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our experienced SEN team, families, and external agencies to provide the best possible support and opportunities for our students.
  • Progress Monitoring: Continuously assess and track the progress of your students, adjusting your teaching methods to facilitate their growth.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to teach in the UK with UK QTS or NARIC recognised qualifications.
  • A strong passion for teaching and a genuine interest in special education.
  • The ability to connect with and support students with PMLD and SEMH needs.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.

  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application through us
  • Provide two professional child related references
  • An updated CV with work and academic details from last 10 years
