English Teacher
Salary: M1- UP3 (Paid to scale)
Start Date: September or sooner
Location: Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire

GSL Education are currently looking for English Teacher to work in long-term placements. Roles are suitable for Fully Qualified and Newly Qualified Teachers who are looking to complete their induction year. Jobs may become permanent for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, mark & deliver English up to GCSE or A-level Standard.
- Engage students to learn the subject and classroom manage.
- Have excellent communication skills to liaise with school leaders, parents, carers or guardians and young people.
- Have patience and the ability to adapt teaching style to meet the needs of individual students are valuable traits.
As a successful candidate:
- Have at least six months of teaching experience.
- Have an enhanced child workforce DBS certificate on the Update Service or are willing to process one through GSL Education. at your earliest convenience.
- Will hold QTS or other UK recognised teaching qualification.
- Will hold a current Enhanced DBS registered with the update service or be prepared to apply for a new one.
