Job Title: German Teacher

Salary: £100 - £230 per day

Are you passionate about the German language and culture? Do you have a knack for inspiring students to embrace linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a German Teacher in Harlow starting this September 2024.

As a German Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing students' language skills and fostering a deeper understanding of German culture and society. Your enthusiasm and expertise will ignite curiosity and empower students to become confident and effective communicators in German.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic and interactive German language lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and take risks in their language learning journey.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources, including multimedia and authentic materials, to enhance students' language acquisition and cultural understanding.
  • Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support their continued growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular connections and promote the integration of German language and culture across the curriculum.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to communicate students' progress and support their involvement in their children's language learning.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Fluent proficiency in German language, both spoken and written.
  • Experience teaching German at the secondary level, with a track record of fostering student achievement and engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Adaptability and creativity in lesson planning and delivery to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment that respects and celebrates diversity.
