Location: Newham

Salary: £85-£95 per day

Start Date: 29th April 2024

Contract Type: Long Term

Working Hours: 12:00 pm to 04:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant Position Available, Newham

 

 We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school community in Newham.

 

 As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting a Year 2 pupil with ASD and associated behavioral needs on a one-to-one basis.

 

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

 

· Provide one-to-one support to a Year 2 student with ASD.

· Providing assistance with personal care

· Assisting with managing associated behavioral needs

· Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development

· Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

· Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each child.

 

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

· Experience working with children with special educational needs

· Strong understanding of ASD and associated needs

· Energy and enthusiasm to engage with an active child

· Ability to provide personal care support
