Post 16 Tutor - Maths
- Location: Consett, County Durham
- Salary: £20 - £40 per hour
GSL Education are seeking a skilled Maths Tutor for a Post 16 education facility in Consett. This role focuses on enhancing students' mathematical skills and preparing them for their A-Level exams and further studies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and effective ways to teach complex mathematical concepts.
- Provide feedback and academic support through one-on-one tutoring sessions.
- Coordinate with educational staff to implement continuous improvement in teaching methodologies and student performance.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Mathematics or a related field; PGCE in Secondary Education with a Maths specialization preferred.
- Experience in teaching Maths at A-Level or equivalent.
- Proficient understanding of the curriculum and examination requirements for A-Level Maths.
Please note: This role requires a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection, and successful candidates must satisfy all background checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
