ASD Teaching Assistant - Secondary
Location: Newcastle, Tyne & Wear
Salary: £75 - £110 per day
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
GSL Education invites applications for an ASD Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting in Newcastle. This role is designed for individuals dedicated to enhancing the educational experiences of students with autism spectrum disorder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support ASD students through secondary curriculum challenges.
- Implement behavioural and educational strategies that facilitate a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and specialists to support individual student goals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with ASD in a secondary educational setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A compassionate approach and a strong commitment to education equity.
