Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Required for February 2024

We are seeking an enthusiastic, flexible, and well-motivated HLTA to join our team of specialist lead support staff in our MLD Special School team and Trust.
The Opportunity: This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated, pupil-centered, and forward-thinking staff team within a school judged to be 'Good' in all areas. We believe in sharing best practices and provide excellent, informative training and supportive mentoring to have a positive impact on pupil learning and outcomes straight away.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating bespoke programs for specific pupils, both on and off-site.
  • Leading and supporting individuals and groups of pupils to achieve their outcomes.
  • Being Level 3 Safeguarding trained to support the team in triaging concerns on a daily basis.

  • Enthusiastic to lead and contribute in an area of expertise, sharing strategies to support further developments within the school.
  • Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with others, solution-focused with a sense of humor.
  • Keen to learn and be part of a supportive team and a whole-school sharing culture.
