Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Spilsby
Pay Rate: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education Lincoln Branch are inviting applications from experienced and motivated Supply Teachers for opportunities in secondary schools throughout Spilsby. We aim to connect schools with qualified professionals who can provide dependable classroom instruction, respond effectively to different learning environments, and ensure students receive consistent educational guidance during staff absences.
In this Supply Teacher position, you will take responsibility for maintaining the flow of lessons, supporting academic development, and establishing a classroom atmosphere where students feel encouraged to participate and complete their work successfully.
Supply Teacher Responsibilities:
- Lead classroom sessions using established lesson plans and available teaching resources
- Maintain continuity in students' learning by reinforcing previously introduced topics
- Create clear expectations that support respectful conduct and productive classroom routines
- Identify students who require additional explanations and offer appropriate assistance
- Encourage learners to take ownership of their tasks and contribute confidently during lessons
- Share important classroom updates and completed work records with permanent teaching staff
Supply Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience delivering lessons within secondary education is preferred
- Capability to manage unfamiliar classrooms and engage students effectively
- Understanding of inclusive teaching practices and appropriate behaviour management
- Professional, flexible, and self-motivated approach to different teaching responsibilities
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
