Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Boston
Pay Rate: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education Lincoln Branch are looking for capable and committed Supply Teacher to undertake teaching assignments in fabulous secondary schools across Boston. We welcome qualified educators who can respond confidently to changing classroom situations, maintain high expectations for learning, and provide effective teaching support across different subjects and age groups.
Taking on the position of a Supply Teacher, you will help schools maintain educational standards during staff absences by guiding students through scheduled learning activities, promoting classroom cooperation, and ensuring lessons remain purposeful and productive.
Supply Teacher Responsibilities:
- Take charge of scheduled classes and ensure learning activities are carried out effectively
- Present lesson content clearly and guide students through assigned coursework
- Establish a respectful classroom atmosphere that encourages concentration and cooperation
- Respond to individual learning difficulties and provide appropriate academic guidance
- Keep students motivated through clear instructions, encouragement, and constructive interaction
- Communicate lesson outcomes, classroom observations, and any concerns to relevant school staff
Supply Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Relevant teaching experience within a secondary school environment is advantageous
- Ability to establish authority and build rapport with unfamiliar groups of students
- Sound understanding of effective teaching practices and student assessment
- Resourceful, organised, and confident approach to managing varied teaching assignments
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
