Job Title: Supply Teacher
Location: Sleaford
Pay Rate: £150 - £200 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education Lincoln Branch are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teacher to support excellent secondary schools in Sleaford. We would like to hear from qualified professionals who can confidently manage classrooms, deliver effective lessons, and provide consistent educational support when permanent teachers are unavailable. This opportunity is ideal for educators who value flexibility while remaining committed to maintaining high teaching standards.
The Supply Teacher will provide continuity of education by delivering planned learning activities, encouraging student engagement, and maintaining an organised classroom environment. Your ability to adapt quickly and establish positive relationships will help learners stay focused and make progress.
Supply Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons using teaching materials and plans provided by schools
- Supervise students across different secondary subjects and year groups
- Establish clear classroom expectations and maintain positive behaviour
- Adjust teaching approaches to support different abilities and learning requirements
- Encourage active participation, independent learning, and academic confidence
- Provide feedback to school staff regarding lesson completion, student engagement, and classroom activities
Supply Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching in secondary education is desirable
- Confidence working with students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments and teaching expectations
- Strong communication, classroom management, and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
