- Participate in therapeutic training and apply trauma-informed approaches to support pupils effectively.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has a genuine passion for working with children with SEMH and additional needs.
- Is patient, resilient and adaptable, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills, alongside a non-judgemental and understanding approach.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and provide consistent, reliable support.
- Has a basic understanding of English and Maths and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Previous experience in SEN, SEMH, youth work, care or a similar setting is desirable.
Why Apply?
- Extensive therapeutic training and ongoing professional development.
- A supportive team environment with guidance from experienced professionals.
- The opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children who need it most.
- A varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same.
If you're enthusiastic about helping young people overcome challenges and thrive both in and out of the classroom, we'd love to hear from you!
