Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are recruiting caring and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to work in vibrant school across Doncaster. We are seeking individuals who understand how young children develop and can create engaging opportunities for learning through play, exploration, and positive interaction.
As an Early Years Practitioner (EYP), you will support children throughout their early development, helping them strengthen communication, social, emotional, physical, and early academic skills within a safe and stimulating environment.
Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Provide purposeful play and learning activities suited to different developmental stages
- Encourage early communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills
- Observe children’s development and contribute to accurate progress records
- Facilitate creative, sensory, physical, and exploratory experiences
- Promote confidence, positive relationships, and increasing independence
- Maintain a welcoming and stimulating environment that supports learning and wellbeing
Early Years Practitioner Requirements:
- Experience within Early Years, nursery, childcare, or a related setting is desirable
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Knowledge of key areas of early childhood development
- Ability to engage children through age-appropriate and purposeful activities
- Caring, attentive, reliable, and adaptable approach to Early Years practice
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
