Pay Rate: MPS/UPS (Depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education Lincoln Branch are recruiting knowledgeable and engaging Geography Teacher to work with excellent schools in Grimsby. We would like to hear from qualified educators who can bring geographical concepts to life, encourage curiosity about the wider world, and develop learners’ ability to investigate, interpret, and evaluate geographical information.
The Geography Teacher will deliver stimulating lessons across physical and human geography, helping students build subject knowledge while strengthening their analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.
Geography Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver curriculum-focused Geography lessons across relevant key stages
- Explore physical, human, and environmental geography through varied learning activities
- Incorporate maps, data, case studies, and digital resources into lessons
- Encourage learners to investigate geographical issues and evaluate different perspectives
- Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to support further development
- Prepare examination groups through targeted revision and assessment activities
Geography Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong understanding of the Geography curriculum
- Previous experience teaching Geography is desirable
- Ability to communicate geographical concepts clearly across different ability levels
- Effective planning, assessment, communication, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
