Cover Supervisor – Bourne
Location: Bourne, Lincolnshire
Salary: £110 – £140 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Flexible
GSL Education is seeking dependable Cover Supervisor to work within secondary schools in Bourne.
This is an opportunity to step into a classroom-based role and gain experience that can be particularly valuable if you are an aspiring teacher. University students, graduates and candidates with experience working with young people are encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate will supervise classes, support students with pre-prepared work and maintain a positive learning environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Supervise lessons in the absence of teaching staff.
- Ensure students follow the work provided.
- Maintain appropriate behaviour and classroom standards.
- Encourage students to remain focused.
- Take attendance and communicate any concerns.
- Support the wider school team as required.

- Ability to manage groups of young people.
- Previous experience with children or young people is beneficial.
- An interest in teaching, education or youth work.
