Cover Supervisor – Boston
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Salary: £110 – £130 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Flexible
GSL Education is looking for Cover Supervisors to work with secondary-aged students in Boston.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain meaningful classroom experience while working with pupils across different subjects. If you are an aspiring teacher or graduate looking to build experience before teacher training, working as a Cover Supervisor can help you develop valuable classroom-management and communication skills.
The Role:
- Supervise classes during teacher absences.
- Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by teaching staff.
- Keep pupils focused and engaged with their work.
- Manage behaviour fairly and consistently.
- Support students with questions where appropriate.
- Maintain classroom records and report concerns.
- Work alongside the wider school team.
