Aspiring Teachers – Flexible School Work in Lincoln

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary: £93 – £110 per day, depending on role and experience
Start Date: ASAP

GSL Education is looking for Aspiring Teachers in Lincoln!

Are you currently studying at university and would like part-time work that fits around your studies? Or perhaps you are a graduate looking to gain valuable experience in a school before starting your teaching career?

GSL Education is seeking Aspiring Teachers to work across schools in Lincoln, with flexible opportunities available as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor.

This is an excellent way to gain practical experience working with children and young people while developing the skills and confidence needed for a future career in teaching or education.

Flexible Opportunities Available:

Teaching Assistant

  • Support teachers during lessons and classroom activities.
  • Work with individual pupils or small groups.
  • Help students stay engaged and focused on their learning.
  • Support pupils with their educational and pastoral needs.
  • Gain valuable experience of day-to-day life within a school.

Cover Supervisor

  • Supervise classes when the regular teacher is unavailable.
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and ensure students remain engaged.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Support students with their work and encourage independent learning.
  • Develop valuable classroom management and communication skills.

We Are Looking For:

  • Current university students or graduates interested in education.

  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils.
  • Reliable and adaptable individuals who can work around changing school requirements.
  • Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
