Salary: £95 – £115 per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within supportive schools across Stockton-on-Tees. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and wants to make a genuine difference to their learning and development.
About the Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers to support pupils throughout the school day. You may provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with classroom activities, and help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
We are looking for someone who is patient, approachable, reliable, and confident in building positive relationships with pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers with day-to-day classroom activities
- Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
- Assist pupils with their learning and development
- Support children with additional learning needs where required
- Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence
- Help prepare classroom resources and activities
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification – Essential
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting
- A caring, patient, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to motivate and encourage pupils
- Reliable and adaptable attitude
- Passion for supporting children's education and development
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
