Teaching Assistant – Skegness
£95–£110 per day | Primary Schools | 2–4 Days Per Week
Have you recently completed a Teaching Assistant qualification or another relevant qualification and are looking to gain your first experience working in a school?
GSL Education is looking for people to join our team in Skegness, supporting local primary schools on an ad-hoc basis, with regular opportunities available for those looking to work around 2–4 days per week.
This is a great way to get your foot in the door, put your qualification into practice and build your confidence working with children in a school environment.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
- Working alongside teachers and other school staff.
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support.
- Helping pupils stay engaged and confident.
- Supporting classroom activities and interventions.
- Building positive relationships with children.
- Supporting pupils with additional needs where appropriate.
Who we're looking for
You don't need previous school experience. We're looking for someone with:
- A Teaching Assistant qualification or another relevant qualification.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- A genuine interest in working with children.
- A caring, patient and positive approach.
- Good communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
