Teaching Assistant – Lincoln
£95–£110 per day | Primary Schools | Great First Step into Education
Have you recently completed a Teaching Assistant qualification or another relevant qualification and are now looking to gain your first experience working in a school?
GSL Education is looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our Lincoln team, with opportunities to work primarily within primary schools.
This is a great opportunity to put your qualifications into practice, build your confidence and gain valuable hands-on experience working with children.
There may also be opportunities to gain experience within secondary and SEN schools, giving you the chance to see different areas of education and build your experience further.
What could you be doing?
- Supporting pupils with their learning and development.
- Working alongside teachers and other school staff.
- Providing 1:1 or small-group support.
- Helping pupils stay engaged and confident.
- Supporting classroom activities and interventions.
- Developing positive relationships with pupils.
- Supporting children with additional needs where appropriate.
Who are we looking for?
You don't need previous school experience — we're looking for someone who has:
- A Teaching Assistant qualification or another relevant qualification.
- A genuine interest in working with children.
- A caring, patient and positive approach.
- Good communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and develop.
- An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
