Teaching Assistant – Boston
£95–£110 per day | 4–5 Days Per Week | Primary & Secondary Schools
Do you have experience working with children and want to take your skills into education?
GSL Education is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary schools across Boston and the surrounding areas.
This could be a great opportunity for someone with experience in care, youth work, sports, childcare, support work or other roles involving children and young people, who would like to build a career in education.
The Role
- Support pupils with their learning and development.
- Work alongside teachers and other support staff.
- Provide 1:1 or small-group support where required.
- Help pupils stay engaged and confident in their learning.
- Support pupils with additional needs where appropriate.
- Assist with classroom activities and the wider school environment.
- Build valuable experience working in education.
We are looking for:
- Experience working with children or young people.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 4 days per week.
- Must drive and have access to your own vehicle.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, reliability and a positive approach.
- Transferable skills that can be used effectively in an education setting.
- An understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
- Someone willing to learn and develop within a school environment.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
