Teaching Assistant – Sleaford
Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire
Salary: £93 – £110 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Flexible
GSL Education is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Sleaford. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and helping them achieve their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other members of the school team to provide valuable support to pupils. You may work with individual students, small groups, or support the wider classroom, depending on the needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with learning activities and classroom tasks.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
- Help pupils stay focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning.
- Encourage positive behaviour and build pupils' confidence and independence.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and preparation.
- Support pupils with SEND or additional learning needs where required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- A patient, caring, and positive approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
