Cover Supervisor – Grimsby & Immingham

Up to £125 per day | 3–5 days per week | Ad-hoc work with potential for regular/permanent opportunities

GSL Education is looking for a reliable and confident Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Grimsby and Immingham.

This would suit someone who already has experience working with children or young people and is comfortable supporting students who may have SEN needs or challenging behaviour.

The role

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to students aged 11–16.
• Support students with their learning and manage classroom behaviour.
• Work across local secondary schools on an ad-hoc basis.
• Ideally be available 3–5 days per week.
• Be available to accept work from around 7:00am for same-day bookings.
• Be ready to arrive at school around 8:15–8:30am.
• Build relationships with schools and potentially secure a more regular working pattern.
• There may also be opportunities to move into a long-term or permanent position if the right opportunity becomes available.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people.
• Has experience supporting students with SEN and/or challenging behaviour.
• Is confident managing a classroom and delivering pre-planned work.
• Understands the importance of safeguarding in a school environment.
• Is reliable, flexible and confident working across different schools.
• Lives within a reasonable driving distance of Grimsby or Immingham.
• Can commit to being available for work from 7:00am onwards.
