SEN Teaching Assistant – Grantham, Lincolnshire

GSL Education are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive school in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in SEN, education, care or support work who is looking for a rewarding opportunity where they can make a genuine difference.

About the Role:

  • Supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs
  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
  • Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and build confidence
  • Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
  • Working as part of a friendly and committed school team
  • Monday–Friday availability is essential
  • Starting on a supply basis, with the potential to move into a long-term or permanent position

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant, SEN or similar role
  • Care Work or Support Work experience will also be considered
  • A calm, patient and nurturing personality
  • The ability to build positive relationships with children and young people
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, hardworking and committed
  • A genuine desire to help pupils succeed
