SEN Teaching Assistant – Grantham, Lincolnshire

GSL Education are currently looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a welcoming and supportive school in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
This role would suit someone with previous experience in SEN, education, care or support work who is looking for a rewarding opportunity where they can make a genuine difference.
About the Role:
- Supporting pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs
- Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
- Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and build confidence
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social and emotional development
- Working as part of a friendly and committed school team
- Monday–Friday availability is essential
- Starting on a supply basis, with the potential to move into a long-term or permanent position
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant, SEN or similar role
- Care Work or Support Work experience will also be considered
- A calm, patient and nurturing personality
- The ability to build positive relationships with children and young people
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, hardworking and committed
- A genuine desire to help pupils succeed
