SEN Teaching Assistant – Bourne, Lincolnshire
GSL Education are currently seeking a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Bourne, Lincolnshire.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals who is passionate about helping pupils thrive both academically and personally.
The Role:
- Working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Monday–Friday availability required
- Initially working on a supply basis, with the opportunity to progress into a long-term or permanent position
- Providing tailored support to help pupils engage with their learning
- Working alongside teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Supporting pupils' emotional, social and educational development
✅ The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar SEN support role
- Alternatively, experience within Care Work, Support Work or a similar setting
- Patient, compassionate and understanding
- Confident working with children and young people
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, committed and available Monday–Friday
- Passionate about making a positive difference to pupils' lives
