Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Location: Doncaster
Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking for enthusiastic and caring Early Years Practitioner (EYP) to work with excellent schoolscross Doncaster. This opportunity would suit individuals who understand the importance of a child’s early development and can use play, exploration, and everyday experiences to make learning enjoyable and purposeful.
The Early Years Practitioner will contribute to children’s development by providing age-appropriate learning opportunities that strengthen communication, social interaction, physical skills, creativity, and independence.
Early Years Practitioner Responsibilities:
- Arrange engaging play activities based on children’s interests and developmental stages
- Introduce stories, games, and conversations that strengthen early communication skills
- Observe individual development and record relevant progress or emerging needs
- Facilitate creative, physical, and sensory experiences throughout the day
- Guide children towards greater independence during routines and learning activities
- Contribute to a safe, welcoming, and stimulating Early Years environment
Early Years Practitioner Requirements:
- Relevant experience within Early Years, nursery, childcare, or a similar environment is desirable
- Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Knowledge of key stages of early childhood development
- Capability to engage children through age-appropriate activities and purposeful play
- Warm, attentive, and responsible approach to working with young learners
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
