Teaching Assistant – Boston
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Salary: £93 – £110 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Flexible
GSL Education is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Boston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and helping them reach their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide valuable support in the classroom. You may work with pupils on a one-to-one basis, support small groups, or assist the wider class depending on the needs of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils during lessons and classroom activities.
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
- Help pupils remain focused, motivated, and engaged in their learning.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils' confidence and independence.
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and learning resources.
- Support pupils with SEND or additional learning needs where required.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- A patient, caring, and positive approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
- A reliable and flexible approach to work.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
