Salary: £110–£130 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Long-Term/ Day-to-day, Full-Time / Part-Time

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are currently seeking an organised and supportive Learning Manager to work with a school in Wakefield (WF1). This role is ideal for someone who can coordinate learning support, encourage student engagement and help maintain high standards across the learning environment.
Your role as a Learning Manager:
- Support students in accessing and engaging with their learning.
- Monitor student progress, attendance and participation where required.
- Help coordinate learning activities and support programmes.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to identify students' needs.
- Encourage positive attitudes towards learning and personal development.
- Help maintain clear expectations and effective learning routines.
- Communicate relevant progress or concerns with appropriate staff.
Requirements for the Learning Manager role:
- Previous experience in a school, education or learning support environment is desirable.
- Experience coordinating or supporting students would be advantageous.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Confident communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to motivate and encourage young people.
- A proactive and solution-focused approach is essential for being a Learning Manager.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
