Teaching Assistant – Skegness

Location: Skegness, Lincolnshire
Salary: £93 – £110 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time | Long-term / Flexible

GSL Education is looking for dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Skegness. If you enjoy working with children and young people and want a rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and school staff to help pupils access their learning and develop confidence both academically and personally. No two days are likely to be the same, making this a rewarding role for someone who is adaptable and enjoys working in a busy school environment.

Your Role May Include:

  • Supporting pupils during lessons and learning activities.
  • Working with individual pupils or small groups.
  • Helping students overcome barriers to learning.
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and participation.
  • Assisting pupils who need additional educational or pastoral support.
  • Supporting the teacher with the smooth running of the classroom.
  • Helping to create an environment where pupils feel safe, included and encouraged to succeed.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an education or similar setting.
  • Is patient, supportive and able to adapt to different pupil needs.
  • Has good communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Can use their initiative while also working effectively as part of a team.
  • Has a genuine interest in education and supporting young people.
  • Is reliable, professional and committed to making a positive impact.
  • Holds an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for one.
