Teaching Assistant – Lincoln
Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire
Salary: £93 – £110 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
GSL Education is looking for a proactive and supportive Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools in Lincoln.

GSL Education is seeking Teaching Assistants to support pupils within secondary schools across Lincoln, working alongside experienced teachers to ensure students receive the guidance and encouragement they need to succeed.
The role would suit someone who is enthusiastic about education and understands the importance of creating a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment. You may be supporting pupils individually, working with small groups or assisting the wider classroom depending on the needs of the school.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide practical and academic support to pupils during lessons.
- Help children stay motivated, engaged and focused on their work.
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning.
- Encourage positive behaviour and good classroom routines.
- Support pupils who may need additional help with their learning or social development.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to meet pupils' needs.
- Contribute to an inclusive classroom where every pupil feels valued.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a school, childcare, youth work or similar setting is beneficial.
- A positive and patient approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build trusting relationships with pupils.
- Confidence working independently as well as part of a wider school team.
- A flexible attitude and willingness to support where needed.
- SEND experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
