Teaching Assistant – Boston
Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Salary: £93 – £110 per day, depending on experience
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
GSL Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Boston.

GSL Education is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within a school in Boston. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive difference in the classroom.
You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide additional assistance to pupils, helping them remain engaged, confident and focused on their learning. The successful candidate will be approachable, patient and able to build positive relationships with pupils of different abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with their learning and classroom activities.
- Work alongside the class teacher to help create a positive learning environment.
- Provide one-to-one or small-group support where required.
- Encourage pupils to participate and develop confidence in their abilities.
- Help manage classroom behaviour using positive and consistent approaches.
- Support pupils who may require additional educational or pastoral assistance.
- Assist with general classroom preparation and day-to-day activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
- A genuine interest in education and supporting pupils.
- Patient, caring and approachable with good communication skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a school team.
- Reliable, adaptable and willing to take on different responsibilities.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs would be an advantage.
