GSL Education Newcastle Branch are currently seeking passionate and enthusiastic Primary Teachers to work across a range of Primary Schools in the NE62 area of Northumberland.
We have a variety of opportunities available across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, including flexible day-to-day supply work, short-term assignments and longer-term teaching positions.

The Role
As a Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging and effective lessons across the Primary curriculum.
- Following existing lesson plans for day-to-day supply assignments.
- Planning and preparing lessons for longer-term teaching roles where required.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
- Adapting teaching and learning to meet the needs of individual pupils.
- Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other members of school staff.
Requirements
To be considered for this Primary Teacher role, you should:
- Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Be confident teaching within EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic and reliable.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are strongly encouraged to apply.
