Location: Northumberland
Salary: £140–£190 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time / Flexible
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Northumberland is seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This Primary Teacher role is ideal for an enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils achieve their full potential.
The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing pupil progress and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure pupils receive the support and encouragement they need to succeed academically, socially and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities of the Primary Teacher:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.

Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress.

Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.

Managing behaviour effectively to promote positive learning outcomes.

Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers.

Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare.
The Ideal Primary Teacher Will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Have experience teaching within a UK primary school setting.

Have strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management skills.

Be confident planning and delivering high-quality lessons.

Be passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential.

Have excellent communication and organisational skills.

Be adaptable and committed to inclusive teaching practices.

Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).

Have a fully checkable work history.
