Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Worksop
Pay Rate: £460 - £650 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branchare seeking reliable and confident Cover Supervisor (CS) to work with welcoming schools in Worksop. This opportunity would suit individuals who can communicate clearly with students, maintain a well-managed classroom, and ensure planned learning continues across different subjects.
The Cover Supervisor will provide classroom supervision during teacher absence, helping learners follow prepared work, stay on task, and maintain a positive approach to learning.
Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise classes and deliver work already prepared by teaching staff
- Explain instructions and make sure students understand the tasks provided
- Encourage learners to remain focused and complete their work
- Manage classroom behaviour according to school policies and expectations
- Respond calmly to questions, disruption, or issues during lessons
- Provide teaching staff with feedback about work completed and classroom behaviour
Cover Supervisor Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting
- Confidence managing groups within a classroom setting
- Good communication and behaviour management skills
- Ability to follow lesson plans and school procedures
- Responsible, organised, and adaptable approach to different classes
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
