PE Teacher – Supply – Secondary School
Location: Spilsby
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Ad-hoc Daily Supply | Full-time / Part-time | Flexible
GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable PE Teacher to work on a supply basis in secondary schools in Spilsby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified PE teacher who enjoys variety and wants the flexibility of supply teaching without the commitment of a permanent position.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach engaging PE lessons, encourage students to stay active, and promote teamwork, confidence, and healthy lifestyles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach practical and classroom-based PE activities where required
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and student participation
- Adapt lessons to suit different abilities and year groups
- Promote teamwork, discipline, confidence, and a positive attitude towards physical activity
- Follow school safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour policies
- Provide feedback to school staff where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confidence leading practical lessons and managing groups of students
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
