Title: Supply Teacher – Boston
Location: Boston
Salary: £130 – £180 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Daily Supply | 4–5 Days Per Week
GSL Education is seeking reliable and committed Supply Teachers to work across secondary schools in Boston. We are looking for teachers who can consistently commit to 4–5 days per week and are keen to build regular working relationships with local schools.
You can be a specialist in any subject – we want to hear from you! Whether your background is Maths, English, Science, Humanities, Languages, PE, Arts, Technology, or another subject, your expertise could be valuable. The key thing we're looking for is someone dependable, flexible, and confident working in different secondary school environments.
The Role:
As a Supply Teacher, you will provide classroom cover when permanent members of staff are absent. You may be asked to teach within your specialist subject or deliver pre-planned lessons in other areas, depending on the school's requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and, where appropriate, lessons within your subject specialism
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Manage behaviour confidently and fairly
- Ensure students remain engaged and complete the work provided
- Adapt quickly to different schools, classes, and year groups
- Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
- Provide feedback to school staff where required
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Has experience working in a UK secondary school
- Can reliably commit to 4–5 days per week
- Has strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Is flexible, dependable, and professional
- Can confidently adapt to different school environments
- Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply)
