Teaching Assistant – Boston, Lincolnshire

Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Contract: Full-time, Monday–Friday | Supply with potential for a permanent role

GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to work across Primary and Secondary settings in Boston, with the potential to work within SEN settings.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting young people and is looking for a role that could lead to a full-time, permanent position for the right candidate.

The Role

  • Supporting pupils across Primary and Secondary settings.
  • Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required.
  • Assisting teachers with learning and classroom activities.
  • Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
  • Supporting students who may display challenging or behavioural difficulties.
  • Creating a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant, education, care or support role is desirable.
  • Strong, resilient and confident when managing challenging behaviour.
  • Patient, approachable and passionate about supporting young people.
  • Adaptable and happy to work across different settings and age groups.
  • Reliable and available full-time, Monday–Friday.
  • A willingness to potentially work within SEN settings.
