Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are recruiting dedicated Mathematics Teacher to work in schools across Sheffield. We are looking for enthusiastic educators who can inspire pupils to develop confidence in mathematics, strengthen their analytical thinking, and achieve excellent academic outcomes. The Math Teacher will have the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons that encourage logical thinking, problem-solving, and a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts while supporting pupils of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
Maths Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver well-structured mathematics lessons that challenge and support pupils of all abilities
- Foster a classroom culture that promotes curiosity, resilience, and confidence in numeracy
- Use assessment data to monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies where required
- Prepare pupils for internal assessments and public examinations through targeted instruction
- Incorporate a range of teaching methods and resources to maximise engagement and understanding
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development, and school initiatives
Math Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the secondary mathematics curriculum
- Ability to motivate learners and manage an effective classroom environment
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
