Working Hours:

  • CIPD Level 3: Monday evenings, 5:00pm – 9:00pm
  • CIPD Level 5: Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, 5:00pm – 9:00pm

CIPD Lecturer

GSL Education is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable CIPD Lecturer to deliver engaging and inspiring teaching to adult learners studying CIPD Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications.

The Role

As a CIPD Lecturer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons for CIPD Level 3 and/or Level 5 learners.
  • Delivering high-quality teaching that supports learner achievement and progression.
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for adult learners.
  • Assessing learner work and providing constructive feedback to support development.
  • Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting learners to achieve their professional qualification.
  • Keeping teaching materials up to date with current HR legislation, best practice and CIPD standards.
  • Promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding and professional standards within the learning environment.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for CIPD Lecturer will have:

  • Experience working within Human Resources, Learning & Development or People Management.
  • Strong knowledge of current HR practices, employment legislation and people management.
  • A recognised HR qualification, ideally CIPD Level 5 or above, or significant equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience delivering training, coaching, workshops or teaching adults.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.
  • The ability to engage, motivate and inspire adult learners.
  • Strong planning, administration and time management skills.

Desirable

  • Experience delivering CIPD Level 3 and/or Level 5 qualifications.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working within Further Education or Higher Education.
