Job Title: Design and Technology Teacher

Pay Rate: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint Design and Technology Teacher for progressive school in Sheffield. We are seeking creative, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic educators who can deliver engaging lessons, develop practical skills, and encourage pupils to think critically while applying design principles in real-world contexts.
This Design and Technology Teacher position allows you to inspire innovation and creativity while helping pupils build practical skills, resilience, and independent thinking.
D&T Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Design and Technology lessons that meet curriculum requirements
- Encourage creativity, practical skills, and safe use of tools and equipment
- Assess, monitor, and record pupils' progress to support their development
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Maintain a safe, organised, and well-equipped learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote high standards of teaching and learning
DT Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Design and Technology in a school setting
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Commitment to delivering engaging and high-quality education
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
