Pay Rate: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience)

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branch are looking to appoint Teaching Assistant (TA) for amazing schools in Sheffield. We are seeking enthusiastic, patient, and reliable individuals who can work alongside teachers to provide high-quality classroom support, helping pupils develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive classroom by supporting teaching, promoting pupil engagement, and fostering academic and personal growth.
Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and planned learning activities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils where required
- Encourage positive behaviour and active participation throughout the school day
- Help prepare classroom resources and maintain an organised learning environment
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people in a school or similar setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to promoting pupils' wellbeing and educational development
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
