Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school near Louth from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to inspiring students through the study of English Language and Literature and helping them develop the skills and confidence needed for future success.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, creating a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Inspire students to develop strong literacy, communication, and analytical skills
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations and coursework
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Contribute to the wider English department and school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for English and a commitment to raising student achievement
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
