Job Title: Math Teacher
Location: Barnsley
Pay: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire Branchare seeking Mathematics Teacher for excellent schools in Barnsley. We would like to hear from a dedicated and knowledgeable teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, encourage logical thinking, and help students build a strong foundation in Mathematics.
The Math Teacher position will offer a rewarding opportunity to shape pupils' analytical abilities while helping them develop the confidence and skills needed for academic success and everyday life.
Responsibilities of Maths Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Adapt teaching strategies to support pupils with a range of learning abilities
- Encourage logical reasoning, critical thinking, and effective problem-solving
- Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes participation and high expectations
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning outcomes
Requirements for Math Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom teaching skills
- Ability to motivate pupils through engaging and well-structured lessons
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
