Pay: £460–£650 per week (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education South Yorkshire branch are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join vibrant schools in Doncaster. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable person who can work alongside teachers to create engaging learning experiences and provide valuable support both inside and outside the classroom.

This Teaching Assistant position will have a rewarding opportunity to support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development while contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support to reinforce pupils' learning
  • Encourage positive behaviour and active participation throughout the school day
  • Assist with preparing classroom resources and maintaining an organised learning environment
  • Monitor pupils' progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
  • Promote safeguarding and contribute to a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative school team
  • Patient, flexible, and committed to supporting pupils' individual needs
  • Genuine enthusiasm for helping children achieve their potential
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
