Business & IT Teacher – Secondary School
Location: Boston
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full Time (5 Days per Week) | Fixed-term for the academic year
GSL Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Boston to recruit a Business & IT Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Business and IT Teacher who is looking to join a supportive school and make a real impact on students' learning throughout the academic year.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging Business and IT lessons to secondary-aged students, helping them develop their understanding of business concepts, digital technology, and essential workplace skills in a positive and supportive learning environment.
The role:
- Teach Business and IT across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Assess students' work and provide constructive feedback to support progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with the wider teaching team and contribute to the life of the department.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Business Studies and/or IT in a UK secondary school.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is passionate about preparing young people with the knowledge and skills needed for further education and the workplace.
- Holds an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one.
