Art & Photography Teacher – Secondary School (3 Days per Week)
Location: Boston
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Three days per week | Fixed-term for the academic year
GSL Education is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in Boston to recruit an Art & Photography Teacher for a part-time position starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Art and Photography Teacher looking for a regular three-day-per-week teaching commitment, or for someone wanting to balance teaching alongside other professional or personal commitments.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging Art and Photography lessons to secondary-aged students, encouraging creativity, developing practical skills, and inspiring students to express themselves through a range of artistic media.
The role:
- Teach Art and Photography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons.
- Assess students' work and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students can thrive.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and achievement.
- Work collaboratively with the school's supportive teaching team.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching Art and/or Photography in a UK secondary school.
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is passionate about inspiring creativity and artistic development in young people.
- Holds an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or is willing to apply for one.
