Job Title: KS4 Teacher
Location: Durham
Pay: £750–£1,100 per week (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term
Can you support Key Stage 4 students as they prepare for important qualifications and future pathways?
GSL Education Newcastle branch are seeking KS4 Teacher to work in fabulous school in Durham. We welcome applications from qualified teachers in all subject specialisms, including English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Modern Foreign Languages, Computing, Design and Technology, PE, Art, Music, Drama, and other curriculum areas.
The Key Stage 4 Teacher will have a chance to support students through a crucial stage of their education, helping them build subject knowledge, confidence, and readiness for examinations.
KS4 Teacher Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons that meet Key Stage 4 curriculum and examination requirements
- Support students in developing subject knowledge, revision skills, and exam confidence
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve
- Promote positive behaviour and maintain a focused classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student achievement and progression
KS4 Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Experience teaching Key Stage 4 or GCSE-level learners is desirable
- Strong understanding of curriculum expectations within your subject specialism
- Ability to motivate students and support examination preparation
- Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
