Job Title: Secondary Teacher
Location: Newcastle
Pay: £150–£220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time/ Part-time, Day-to-day/ Long-term

GSL Education Newcastle branch are seeking Secondary Teacher to join supportive schools in Newcastle. We are looking for a passionate and adaptable educator who can deliver high-quality lessons, create positive learning environments, and help students achieve their academic potential across a range of subject areas.

Secondary Teacher Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum objectives and learning outcomes
- Adapt teaching strategies to support students with a range of abilities and learning styles
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage achievement
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and engagement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leaders to support student development
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and follow school safeguarding policies at all times
Secondary Teacher Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Previous experience teaching within a secondary school is desirable
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
- Ability to motivate, engage, and inspire students to achieve their best
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
