GSL Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work with our partner schools across Lincoln. Whether you're looking for flexible supply work or a full-time, long-term role, we have opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.
You'll have the opportunity to work across a variety of educational settings, including Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, and Specialist SEN/SEMH provisions, supporting pupils with a range of additional learning and behavioural needs.
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences.
- Support pupils' academic, social, emotional, and personal development.
- Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing learning environment.
- Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of each pupil.
- Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and external professionals where appropriate.
What We're Looking For:
- Availability to work part-time or full-time.
- Flexibility to work on a supply basis or commit to long-term/full-time placements.
- Previous experience working within education, care, support work, or a similar role is essential.
- Relevant qualifications in Education, Childcare, Health & Social Care, SEND, or related fields are desirable.
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children and young people.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
